Rejane, her mother
and baby sister were brought to Angeles at the beginning of the
year, where they stayed with a director of RCCC for a few months
while she underwent tests, and finally surgery on the 1st. April,
2011 in the Paediatrics Cardiology unit, Philippine General Hospital,
Manila. The operation was a success, and she was discharged shortly
afterwards. After spending a few more weeks with the director, the
family with tears of joy returned to Dumaguete.
She will require check-ups in 2
months, 6 months, one and two years to ensure that everything is
normal, but the surgeons are confident there will be no problems.
The mother says her daughter has a
future, thanks to the help from the Rotary Club of Clark Centennial,
the Secretary of the PGH Medical Foundation Inc., for advice, and
Doctors Vallie and Capero who undertook her life-saving
operation.
