President Alan Varley and family
President Alan Varley and his Board of Directors were inducted for the Rotary Year 2018 - 19 by the 3790 District Governor - Pancracio “Panding” Nisce at an Induction Ceremony at the Kay Hotel and Suites, Angeles City, 01 August.

A retired ex-pat, Alan is a family man with a wife and 3 young children, and with children and their future being very close to his heart he aims he aims to inspire members and other volunteers to expand the club's activities and also achieve a growth in club membership to be able to help more children and poor families in the local community.

Feeding under nourished children and medical missions in some of the worst slum areas of Angeles City heads the list of projects he aims to accomplish during his term as President of RCCC.

Contributions to support these projects are welcome. As well as financial donations we are always seeking volunteers within the local community that can contribute 2 or 3 hours a week to assist us.

Although small in numbers we make an impact on the local community by helping the children from poor families with feeding programs; operations for those with congenital heart disease and other life threatening problems; cleft palate surgery; hearing aids; for adults and senior citizens lower limb prosthetics, wheelchairs and cataract surgery. We also work closely with the local Government DSWD office and other organisations to be able to provide more help to the community.

With over 100 children at various sites we have to restrict the numbers attending due to the logistics of catering for them. Basically we need more food, money and volunteers who can help us for a few hours Saturday mornings. Can you help us to prepare, cook and serve 100 simple meals? Play games with the children? Donate food items, toys, scholastic materials, clean serviceable clothing and most important time and or money? Please contact us.
