for Traffic Enforcers.

One of the major hazards traffic enforcers here in Angeles have at night is NOT being seen.

A dark skinned person, wearing dark clothes in poorly lit areas, is not easily visible to many motorists who either have very poor headlights, in some cases no lights, or even a black tint on the vehicle windows because of the intense sunlight during the day.

Wearing a vest or simple sash type garment with reflective patches will help to reduce the risk of being involved in an accident while carrying out their duties.

The more common ''high visiblity vests'' are adequate in daylight because of their bright flourescent colour, but at night they are not really effective, hence the need for the more expensive type which has reflective stripes.
